Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Broncos were there to profit. Jacob Cowing, the No. 182 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 236th pick.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Lachey has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Bottom line, with Jer'Zhan Newton leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
