Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jahdae Barron got past him. The Broncos do not have to explain a thing at the 199th overall pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
