Larceny in the Round 4 slot lands the Broncos a D, Colson and all.

The Broncos lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The cost of the Jefferson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Landing Colson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
