Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Broncos, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

They will need Pritchett to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. With edge rusher unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Suamataia at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
