The Cowboys won the night they stopped Milroe from sliding. Grade: B.

Somebody in No. 148 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while Jalen Milroe, the No. 101 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

If Stackhouse pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
