The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Packers reached some 30 spots for Dwight McGlothern, and value like that does not grow back. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Beebe pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
