The Buccaneers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Buccaneers shredded theirs for James Williams. He came off 44 spots early, and the room will hear about it. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots still on the board. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

King at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
