Draft Grade — Cowboys
Overall

FutureB-
The jury is out on the Cowboys. For now, C+. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Braelon Allen at pick No. 125 is 30 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.
For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: running back settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered.
It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Tyler Nubin
In Round 1, Pick 24 they get an enforcer at safety. More want than need.
Pick56
Rnd2
Chris Braswell
They took Chris Braswell at par in slot 56, which is nothing to complain about. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick91
Rnd3
DeWayne Carter
A reach for DeWayne Carter in the 91st pick; a little patience would have been rewarded. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick125
Rnd4
Braelon Allen
They reached a country mile for Braelon Allen at the Round 4 slot, and the board is aghast. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
