The 49ers won the night they stopped Mullings from sliding. Grade: B.

When a board-topper like Kalel Mullings slides to the Round 7 slot, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
