The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Reaching for Van Pran left real value on the table behind him. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Sweat.

Adding Chase Young by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
