The DeMonte Capehart selection is the head-turner. The Steelers reached 34 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Steelers indulged a want in Powers-Johnson while a need in quarterback, wide receiver and other spots stayed open.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
