The Cowboys let Sanders fall and pounced. Final grade: D-.

When a board-topper like T.J. Sanders slides to No. 152, you do not overthink it, and the Cowboys did not. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
