The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Jarquez Hunter slide 30 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The Mike Hilton deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In the end it comes back to Mykel Williams, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
