Nobody dealt better than the 49ers this weekend: B+.

The 49ers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Tez Johnson, the No. 100 name on the board, in pick 138. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

If Oliver pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
