The Cowboys robbed the room for Thornton Jr.. Final grade: B.

Call it larceny. Dont'e Thornton Jr. sat on the board until pick 211, and the Cowboys did not need to be asked twice. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
