Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Ravens: B.

The Solomon Byrd selection is the head-turner. The Ravens reached 47 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. No fireworks, but a solid B.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Terrion Arnold
In Round 1, Pick 30 they get a press-man option on the boundary. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick62 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
A clean, defensible pick in pick 62 with a little surplus value in Kingsley Suamataia. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick93 Rnd3 Xavier Worthy
Somehow Xavier Worthy was still sitting there in the Round 3 slot, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick131 Rnd4 Marist Liufau
Marist Liufau in slot 131 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick134 Rnd4 Dillon Johnson
A big swing on Dillon Johnson at No. 134, well ahead of any board in the building. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick164 Rnd5 Javion Cohen
Javion Cohen in the 164th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick226 Rnd7 Solomon Byrd
Solomon Byrd at slot 226 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick248 Rnd7 Zion Logue
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Zion Logue. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
