Somebody in Round 3, Pick 27 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The 49ers sat still while Will Lee III, the No. 70 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Zuhn III to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
