The trade table was a mismatch, and the Lions were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Delp has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Chambliss at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
