The Aaron Graves selection is the head-turner. The 49ers reached 34 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Davis pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
