Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Drew Allar got past him. The Lions do not have to explain a thing at the 204th overall pick.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. The Barber reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
