There is reaching, and then there is Tony Rojas at the 215th overall pick. The Cowboys jumped the board by 59 and dared it to prove them wrong. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The Aguilar pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Aaron Jones deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
