A passer of the future in Williams, and a B-, for the Commanders.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Commanders' quarterback, full stop. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Reaching for Suamataia left real value on the table behind him.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
