The steal of the weekend belongs to the Commanders and Grant: A-.

The board owed the Commanders one, and it paid up: Charles Grant, the No. 89 name on the board, sitting there at Round 4, Pick 26 like a gift left on the doorstep.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will need Dumas-Johnson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Tetairoa McMillan and all.
