There is reaching, and then there is Davin Vann at pick No. 168. The Titans jumped the board by 90 and dared it to prove them wrong. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Landing TeSlaa that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
