A passer of the future in Sanders, and a D, for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys clearly saw something nobody else did in Xavian Sorey Jr., taking him 48 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Shedeur Sanders is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.

The Barron pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at cornerback and tight end. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
