A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a D-. The war room fell hard for Jamal Haynes, and it showed at Round 7, Pick 5: 50 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
The Haulcy value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
