When the story of this class is written, it opens with Kalil Alexander at No. 221, a reach of 44 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Getting Cooper Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. It is not that Haulcy is a bad player; it is that the Cowboys had louder needs to answer first. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
