The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 49 spots for Devin Leary, and value like that does not grow back. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Jacobs at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
