Larceny in Round 7, Pick 33 lands the Ravens a B+, Dixon and all.

Thirty-one other rooms let Thaddeus Dixon slide, and the Ravens were the ones holding the card at pick 249. Highway robbery.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. Adding Pat Bryant by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick14 Rnd1 Jeremiyah Love
Jeremiyah Love at Round 1, Pick 14 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick47 Rnd2 Emmanuel Pregnon
Emmanuel Pregnon slid further than he should have, and the 47th overall pick is lovely value for the offensive lineman. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick80 Rnd3 Jake Slaughter
Jake Slaughter at the 80th pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick113 Rnd4 Devin Moore
Devin Moore at pick No. 113 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick152 Rnd5 CJ Daniels
Steal is underselling it; CJ Daniels at slot 152 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It fills a real need, too.
Pick160 Rnd5 Kage Casey
A slide stopped in pick 160, with Kage Casey worth more than the price. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick172 Rnd5 Kaleb Proctor
Kaleb Proctor in the Round 5 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick173 Rnd5 Taylen Green
Taylen Green in No. 173 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick249 Rnd7 Thaddeus Dixon
They will replay Thaddeus Dixon at pick No. 249 for years; that is how good the value is. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick252 Rnd7 Eli Heidenreich
A quiet steal in slot 252: Eli Heidenreich for less than the market said. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
