Everything else got attention, and edge rusher got none. That is a strange way for the Packers to leave a draft. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Allen pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The veteran additions, Kamren Curl chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most. The back end got a real overhaul.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

Braelon Allen at No. 135 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

A clean, defensible pick in slot 203 with a little surplus value in Christian Jones. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
