Everything else got attention, and wide receiver got none. That is a strange way for the Seahawks to leave a draft. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will need Jacobs to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

In pick 16 they get a quarterback's worst nightmare at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.

A reasonable price with a little left over, Matt Goncalves in Round 4, Pick 18. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

A real head-scratcher, Curtis Jacobs in the Round 6 slot is miles ahead of his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.

A reach on Erick All in pick No. 192; the board had better options right there. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.

They took Dominique Hampton at par in No. 235, which is nothing to complain about. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
