The Steelers let Smith-Wade fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Chau Smith-Wade, the No. 162 name on the board, stolen at the 198th pick.

Every board in the league had Rogers lower, and that gap is the story. They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while edge rusher, linebacker and other spots went begging.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
