Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Giants spent the 170th pick on Hayden Conner, a name the board had a full 43 spots lower. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Taylor. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
