The Bears drew a line under the quarterback search with Daniels: D+.

The tape said wait; the Bears did not. Theo Johnson went at the 110th pick, a good 36 picks before the board was ready. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On value alone, Simpson makes the weekend a net positive.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
