The Bears drew a line under the quarterback search with Nix: A-.

The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Bo Nix, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Hadden. The veteran additions, Asante Samuel Jr. chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
