FutureA+
The Bears got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C. The rest of the league had time to spare on Darius Robinson; the Bears did not wait, grabbing him 31 spots ahead at Round 4, Pick 25. A mixed bag that lands at C.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.
So much rides on Rome Odunze that the real verdict is a season or two away.
Pick Analysis
Pick9
Rnd1
Rome Odunze
Rome Odunze in the Round 1 slot is fair value, right on his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick12
Rnd1
Jared Verse
In pick No. 12 they get a bendy edge with upside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick75
Rnd3
Sedrick Van Pran
Sedrick Van Pran in No. 75 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It fills a real need, too.
Pick76
Rnd3
Zach Frazier
They took Zach Frazier at par in slot 76, which is nothing to complain about. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick110
Rnd4
Cooper Beebe
A straight-up fair deal on Cooper Beebe at pick 110, value and slot in agreement. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick113
Rnd4
Max Melton
Max Melton in the 113th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick125
Rnd4
Darius Robinson
They reached into another round for Darius Robinson, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
