The needs board said one thing and the Jaguars did another, using the 79th pick on Maason Smith while safety and linebacker waited. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They are betting Cephus proves the room right and everyone else wrong. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Tagovailoa. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.
