Start where it matters. The Bears took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

The Jean-Baptiste reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots went begging.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
