You build a draft on nights like this. Lee Hunter had no business being available in Round 3, Pick 20, and the Cowboys did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Green has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
