The tape said wait; the Cowboys did not. Roman Hemby went at pick 209, a good 58 picks before the board was ready. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
