The Cowboys worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

The Cowboys clearly saw something nobody else did in Keaten Wade, taking him 72 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. On value alone, Altmyer makes the weekend a net positive. The veteran additions, Will Fries chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
