The Cowboys fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Justin Rogers in Round 5, Pick 24, a good 33 spots before the room expected him. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Getting Johnson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
