The Cowboys found their guy under center in Daniels: D-. Nobody else had Evan Anderson anywhere near pick No. 212. The Cowboys did, by 61 spots, and that gap is the whole story.
Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.
For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. That Oladapo pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
