The Cowboys bled value on every deal, hence the D+. The tape said wait; the Cowboys did not. Isaac TeSlaa went at Round 7, Pick 32, a good 127 picks before the board was ready. The math is unkind, and the D+ follows.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. That Skattebo pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
