Somebody in slot 246 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chiefs sat still while Sawyer Robertson, the No. 181 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A mixed bag that lands at C.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Spears-Jennings reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.

If Kenyon Sadiq and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
