Call it larceny. DJ Giddens sat on the board until the 239th pick, and the Cowboys did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Horsley has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
