After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

The Ceaser reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Landing Newton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
