The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a A-.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

Every board in the league had Travis lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. The Mitchell steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
