Start where it matters. The Bears took Michael Penix Jr. to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Lee pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
