The Bears turned the phones into found money: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

Reaching for Gore Jr. left real value on the table behind him. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

However the rest shakes out, Odunze at that price is a win they earned. The Jalen Carter deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
